Dedication

Bob Pisani

To many, Bob Pisani was more than a teacher. Bob was a
counselor, a confidante and a friend. On October 19, 2006,
HS lost an inspiration. Bob's life was tragically taken in a car
accident on his way home from work. His favorite place to be
was with his students, whom he cared about immensely. Even if
you never sat in Bob's room during an ice or went to him for
counseling, he would make a point of saying "hello" to any
students he passed in the hallway, and was always therefor
anyone who needed him.

The students at LHS held "Pasta for Pisani" in the fall, which
raised money for the Pisani Children's Fund, as well as hosted
the "Stroll for Strength" to commemorate Bob's life as well as an
East Longmeadow High School student who passed away this
fall. Bob's caring spirit, willingness to help others, and love for
his students and work will always stay with us; he will never be
forgotten.

The class of 2007 would like to dedicate this
yearbook to the memory of Molly McEvoy, who
would have been graduating with our class this
year. Molly passed away in 1996 when we were
in 2nd grade at Center School. She was an
inspiration to everyone who was fortunate enough
to meet her. She taught us all about love, giving,
and never giving up hope. Molly was courageous;
she always had a smile on her face and a joke to
tell, or words of encouragement when we were
down. Although she will not be walking across the
stage at graduation, her spirit will live on forever
in our hearts.

Unforgetable and valuable members of the Longmeadow
High family are leaving us after years of devoted service.

we'll miss you...enjoy!!!

Ginny Guistina

Ginny has been teaching at LHS since 1985. Over the
years, she has encouraged countless students to create their
own computer programs and helped many staff members to
understand the complex world of computers. She is an
expert in the language of C+ + and Java, and her students
have learned to communicate with her electronically via
Manhattan.

Ginny is a loyal friend, an outstanding teacher, and an
excellent cook, with meatballs and apple pie serving as her
specialties... homemade, of course. She has been an
enthusiastic supporter of the LHS track team, especially
when her daughter Janice ran track in the mid 1990 's.

Ginny will be missed by the teachers in the Math
Department, by other staff members, and by her students.
Thanks for all your hard work and dedication to
Longmeadow High School, Mrs. G. Now, enjoy your
grandchildren and your retirement.

Linda McShane

Linda has been a teacher at LHS since 1978, most
recently concentrating in teaching AP English as well as
both Creative Writing courses, courses she created.
Besides teaching, Linda has served as Impressions
advisor, class advisor and now English Department
Chair and ELA Coordinator.

Linda's caring attitude, love of language and
literature, poetic spirit and her keen intellect enable her
to inspire her students to meet her high expectations and
realize their own potential. Ms. McShane is highly
respected by her students and their parents, her
colleagues, and the administration at LHS. The English
Department especially will surely miss her as a superb
leader, mentor, and friend, not to mention as a baker
extraordinaire. Her legacy will live on in the hundreds
and hundreds of LHS graduates who have gone off into
the world as better writers, readers and thinkers, and by
? the virtue of having been in her class, better people.

Longmeadow

We know it sounds a little pretentious...okay, maybe

more than a little. But you have to admit, we have a

good argument. We have an excellent sports program

that is among the best every year. Our artists are

award winning, and our Grammy Award winning

Music Department is without equal. We have a

diverse, achievement oriented student body who also

knows how to have a good time, and our faculty and

staff are exceptionally skilled and supportive. What

more could you ask for? Actually, we are always
striving for more; that's just one more attribute that
makes us unique and successful! Longmeadow Rules!

A Sports Program recognized by the Springfield
Republican as the best in Western Mass Division One

two out of the last three years

We should not forget our outstanding spring sports teams whose picture were unavailable at
printing. The Girl's Lacrosse team is reigning D-l Champs and the Boy's team were D-l finalists
last year. While the Girl's Softball team made the Western Mass. semi-finals, both the Girl's and
Boy's Tennis teams repeated as Western Mass D-l Champs. 5

Rules!

Lbngmeadow

Like the world around us, LHS is an organization

governed by a series of very specific rules. And

like the world around us, LHS doesn't always pay

close attention to those rules. The idea that not all

doors are available all the time; the notion that cell

phones are not to be used in the academic wing, \

and the whole student parking thing, leave LHS

students following a long time American tradition;

civil disobedience.

Students sprint for the parking lot and escape, hoping beyond hope to avoid Mr. Landers and

any examination of their "parking pass.",.

Once you are out there...

Hope you have a
parking pass!

Above: Nick Kadushin expresses his opinions
Above Right: Autumn Beaulac shows the
correct form.

As you know, the student parking lot is a source of great

frustration. Students are required to pay $100 a

semester for parking privileges. Many students object to

this so they sometimes (gasp): forge a parking pass, try

and get through two semesters with one pass, or try to

avoid Mr. Landers as he patrols the lot looking for cars

needing passes. It is a constant battle which employs

some unique strategies by both the students and the

administration.

"No Nick, you can't do that!. ..(insert appropriate last name)

But there is much that the members of the Senior class have done
and will being doing in their futures. What a year it has been. For Mrs.
Barker and Mrs. Rousseau that is all it has been: a year. Being assigned
as new Senior class advisors to the Class of 2007's final year as high
school students has been a wonderful and challenging experience. This
one year has been a gift of time spent with the Class of 2007. It has
been a privilege to work with amazing and talented young people who
have made us laugh, question our sanity, and prove to us that the
students at Longmeadow High School just keep getting better and
better.

In the spirit of the Class of 2007, your class advisors present to you
our top ten list of mishaps, adventures, and just downright funny
happenings:

10. No, I am not your mother

9. Can you boys possibly eat any more food?!

8. Um..the pirate in purple. ...is he supposed to look like that?!

7. Once again. ..who are the angels and who are the devils and where

will we play this game?

6. There was enough food ordered.... but...

5. Bagels? Did someone say Eric-Paul brought bagels?

4. Senior photo. .the photographer left? Okay, reschedule in the gym.

3. The set. ..did anyone bring paint? Anyone have a hammer?

2. Senior photos in the yearbook: if you don't submit them, the staff

will hunt you down and take candids!

1 . Prom, High Meadows, Graduation, all memorable in their own ways.

Good luck with the future. Look back and think of these as stepping
stones to all years to come. You will be missed and you will definitely
be remembered. As Seals and Crofts once said..." All the secrets of the
universe, whisper in our ears, and all the fears come and go... we may
never pass this way again..."

"Stay forever young. .."-Rod Stewart

Much love and best wishes,
Mrs. Barker and Mrs. Rousseau

15

Dear Class of 2007,

It's been real, it's been fun; it's been real fun. But in all seriousness, the past four years have
been simply amazing. From the Providence Zoo, to the beaches of Newport, to the
Junior/Senior Semi-Formals, and to the crazy nights of our Peter Pan rehearsals; all that's left
now are our memories and the friendships we've made. These memories will be carried with us
and all of our friends and teachers forever. We, your class officers, cannot believe our time to
graduate has come and we truly feel blessed to have been able to represent the Class of 2007.
This class has the potential to do amazing things and we can't wait to see your achievements in
the future. The memories will not stop here; we will meet again, keeping in contact and visiting
during our college breaks. We will never forget things such as: Nicolino and Steve's interesting
Halloween costumes, how the sketchy fort in Newport sophomore year was the best field trip
ever, Mr. Ream jousting us during the sophomore lock-in, our perfect football season
(Longmeadow Football Rules!), how the play was well worth the drama, and how our favorite
proverb, "You win some, you lose some," can be applied to anything. Take care of yourselves
and we hope to see you soon!

Your class officers,

Jadira Mora, Bennett O'Brien, Colin Shebar,

Jaxie Meth and Chris Clough-Segall

From Wolf Swamp, Center, & Blueberry Hill,

to Williams & Glenbrook, to LHS, and

everywhere in between, we, the Class of

2007, have grown much since our younger

years. We've had birthday parties, sports

teams, eighth grade graduation, and friends

who've come & gone in addition to the ones

that still remain. Yet even though we will go

our separate ways as we graduate, we will

always remember the past.

"May you stay forever young... "

Music

The Preparation

Before every breathtaking performance, hours of

rehersals and practices are dedicated to perfecting each

note sung and played. These rehersals, although long and

tiring, create memories, unbreakable frienships and

above all, beautiful music.
